I didn't want to move into our current home because of this very reason, not only just one provider, not only just DSL, but also the worst provider for customer service in this city. I relented finally because the move cut our house payment in half. Two years later we sit in no better a situation then we did when we moved in while half a mile in every direction has seen increase in speeds and little increase in price. *sigh*
