I wasn't planning on transmitting video, but the NetGear equipment I was looking at claiming 85 Mbps. I will give it a try and see how it goes.

Thanks,

Chris

I use a NetGear power ethernet adapter which works great for my needs but I don't know if you'd be happy transmitting video over it since mine tops out at around 22Mb per second.

I am considering using PowerLine Ethernet Adapters to connect my TV and Blu-ray player to my home network so they can access the Internet for updates.

The TV and Blu-Ray player are in the basement. I have an Airport Base Station on the second floor connected to my cable modem. It appears that I could use a Powerline 4-Port Ethernet Adapter in the basement and a Powerline Ethernet Adapter connected on the second floor to connect the devices to my home network.
