Yes. A couple of weeks ago I set up a VPN using Netgear's FVS114 router (about $60) on a DSL line. This router has been out for a few years so the price is nice. I hit a major snag because, as I later discovered, I was sold an old version of the VPN client software (sold separately). Netgear's tech told me that they had changed the disc's color from Netgear blue to orange to make it very easy to tell the bad old stuff from the good new stuff. So make sure you get new orange version (v10.8.3). I should mention that the Netgear's VPN software is Windows only. Netgear's excellent tech support saved the day for me. I quickly got to someone who knew what they were doing. After telling me I had the bad old software, they connected remotely to my PC and to the router (at the client's office) and did all the work for me. So I'm happy. The Netgear's router documentation is good. ProSafe's VPN client documentation is less good, but adequate. It does not come on the disc. Had to download it from ProSafe and found some additional docs at Dell. ************************************************************************* ** List info, subscription management, list rules, archives, privacy ** ** policy, calmness, a member map, and more at http://www.cguys.org/ ** *************************************************************************
