Most PCs have scores of unnecessary services running. If you are no 
longer using iTunes then you definitely don't need that one. Maybe you 
should just uninstall iTunes entirely? 

Have you examined the other services you have running? If you haven't 
pruned them before you will find many that are useless in terms of the 
way you use your computer. You may even find some that are security 
problems.

That is really old. You should be able to find somebody to give you a 
better computer for free (if only to avoid their paying to have it 
recycled).
