This stupid thread has gone on far longer than the life of the product I think.
MS screwed up. We all know it.
There was a time when Apple was screwing up for the same
reasons. They lost the vision their founder started them with and he
had to come back to rescue them.
I have already pointed out I think the problem at MS stems from the
top, Steve Ballmer, and I do not think it will change until he is gone.
I think something similar needs to be redone with MS. They need new
leadership and a sense of direction. That also means better quality control.
