I could see this being a problem if somehow end users who bought windows 7 couldn't get it installed because an MS server was down. But to be clear, this is a beta for developers etc, it didn't need the activation keys to install it or run it for days at least, and it was free to try. The activation keys were available a short time later..no harm, no foul. This is a non issue.
