Plays for sure and the Zune marketplace weren't anything close to what Apple is doing, except that they both involved mp3's. Apple isn't abandoning customers/clients who backed plays for sure and Apple isn't completely reworking it's online media stragedy. They are offering DRM-less mp3's because they had to.
