Rudeness is not subject to a vote. Rudeness is failing to meet a minimum level of cordiality and respect of others. Saying something that is true does not make it more or less rude: "You are uglier than dead mole rat!" may accurately describe a person to whom it is directed, but is rude nonetheless.
