Not really but it will come with its own occasional issues... one of which is the anomalies involved with bringing together different file systems that use different systems of measuremen/ reportage etc. It's a great piece of software that has been around a long time but it's still another layer and complexity of software you are depending on so there will be overhead.

Understanding it's setup, maintainance and usage is the first step.
