To successfully perform automatically scheduled backups, frequently you
need to close OS X applications first so their data files are not locked.
Can anyone recommend an OS X utility or procedure that I can use for
scheduling the automatic closing of such applications on a Tiger G5 in
advance of the scheduled backups?
