I think the sweet spot with the 4-in-1s still built around a B&W laser. I have used a Canon 4-in-1 in the office for close to 4 years. It works as well today as the day I bougt it. Before this I went through a couple of ink-jet HPs. The HPs were hateful and did not have a long life. I was constantly feeding them ink. The Canon laser works great with 3rd party carts that I can buy cheap. I replece the cart only a few times a year. I don't see that you need color so much that you should give up on all the good things a B&W 4-in-1 has to offer. You will get better prints from your neighborhood Ritz store or one of the many online services. ************************************************************************* ** List info, subscription management, list rules, archives, privacy ** ** policy, calmness, a member map, and more at http://www.cguys.org/ ** *************************************************************************
