I've had a D60 for about 10 months. It's a very nice camera even with my 61 YO eyes. I obviously must use the viewfinder in this DSLR but I Nikon has several high-end units using their live (pre)view technology (D3, D300, D700). The D90 now has live (pre)view as well. It can also record motion as well as still frames. Other makers with live preview include Canon & Olympus with 8 or 9 units each. There are downsides to live preview. You can research at sites like DP Review and Steve's Digicam among others.
Here's a review of the D60 camera at DP Review<http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/nikond60/>. You can read about the D90 here <http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/nikond90/>. YMMV --- This scotch tastes incredibly expensive . . . I can practically feel my bank account being emptied with every subsequent dram . . . note the rich character . . . he is now a poor character. . . > > Date: Thu, 16 Apr 2009 12:07:46 -0700 > From: mike <[email protected]> > Subject: D60 was: Re: [CGUYS] Camera query.
