That makes sense. Each tab is a independent process. They should all show 
up individually in Activity Monitor.

Chrome is probably doing something other programs don't do, like setting 
up each process to respond only to the master Chrome process and ignoring 
everybody else. To do otherwise would probably be chaos and would provide 
an avenue for malware to do various kinds of cross-tab tricks.
