Yes, this is what I would do. Search for any file or folder with the name of 
the scanner or the name of the icon. Delet it. Or, use a program called 
CCCleaner that will fix the unnecessary registries, the start programs and even 
erase programs. I love CCCleaner, never had probelms with it.
