This is really, really clever. When a competitor has a feature that provides a significant advantage, you write a patch or plugin for their software that removes the advantage. Wow! This lifts competition to an entirely new level. I guess one could call this tactic a drive-by shooting. So should Mozilla now retaliate by issuing patches that introduce horrible bugs into IE or W7?
