I am well aware that battery technology is the Achilles heal of any device. But that is why many manufacturers make replaceable batteries for their devices.

The only device I run that does not have a replaceable battery is my TomTom and if I could find a decent GPS that had replaceable batteries I would dump my TomTom for it in a sec.

Batteries can and do fail, wear out, quit holding a decent charge. Make them replaceable.

Battery technology continues to be a problem. It has been the
stumbling block for portable devices for decades. The smart person
does not criticize the other brand over battery issues because they
know that battery problems can hit anyone at any time.
