Earlier on I mentioned that a number of FAA employees in one of hte agency's offices were planning to migrate to Macs. They have been doing so. They are putitng Windows on their new Macs because everything in the FAA runs under Windows. But, for their own purposes, they are most definitely preferring the Mac side. They also feel that the Windows side works at least as well, if not better than the laptops provided to them by the FAA. These fellows all agree that the Macs are more expensive at the time of initial purchase than an "equivalent" Windows laptop, but given the smooth operation, the tremendous support from Apple, the ability to have two operating systems in one box, the simplicity of setup and operation, free of hassles, and a bunch of other reasons, they are absolutely loving their new computers. These are the words straight form the mouths of folks, all over 40 years of age, who with but one exception, have never handled anything but the MS OS in their lives. According to one of these guys, they all agree that they will never go back, to which I responded, "See, that's what happens to you. I told you so a couple of months ago."
