iPods are treated just the same by many youngsters when they see their friends with them. Boy or girl hooks up with a mate who has an iPod and they'll likely want one as well. Break up and hook up with someone who has another make, and they'll likely want that one. It is called "fitting in." Not exclusive to any one brand.
