Building a PC that runs Mac OS X is the same as building a PC to run
Windows or Linux--could be the same computer.
Do you need to buy a new PC to build another? Of course not! It's the
same with building a computer that will run Mac OS X. You don't have to
start with a Mac. You don't have to buy a computer to build a computer.
That would be a pointless waste of money.
Many people will upgrade existing Macs many times to keep them useful
and to add features. However, it's not necessary to start with a Mac to
build a computer that runs OS X. It just won't be as awesome as a Mac
from Apple.
Are you still confused???
