It's a GREAT use of tech.
We have it here in Seattle ... it's called One Bus Away and it enables
bus riding without having to wait for a bus or wait unknowingly for a
bus. It tracks bus whereabout and tells you real time bus arrival
times BEFORE you go to a bus stop.
That means you can travel by bus and cut out most of the bus wait time.
Why drive?

Transit systems in locations other than Washington DC also have their
own apps.
