Good God I too thought I would quickly google up something like my
Memorex Power Center that I've used for ages, but I can't find
anything like it anywhere. Twenty minutes of searching is beginning to
lead me to believe these things went out with lighter LCD monitors, or
Energy Star peripherals?

As I recall we used to get these practically free at Staples &
OfficeMax. Certainly sturdy enough to hold a heavy CRT monitor.
