Read the specs.
I have had to do this in looking a them.
Most of the name brand N class routers are MIMO.
Many of them of concealed antennas now so you cannot see them.
Also Draft N is pretty much the latest unless you get BRAND new
released stuff. N just finalized their standards a few weeks ago.
I did buy a Netgear
WNR3500-100NAR
It is a MIMO router, and it has concealed antennas.
I replaced a Linksys WRT 110 which also had concealed antennas.
But the best thing you can do is:
Pick out the ones you want to look at.
Go to www.cnet.com and read reviews of them including the customer reviews.
Go to www.newegg.com and see how these compare in price and such and
read the specifications. It will tell you if they are MIMO or not.
Like I said I bought my Netgear at Newegg recently for 39$. It is a
refurbed unit.

Actually I had already read that... it's what came up when I googled
the issue.
But, other than the particular single stream models the article
mentions, it still doesn't make it clear how to tell what's a
single stream router when you are ordering from NewEgg or wherever...
If the specs say the words "Draft N compliant" specifically does
that mean it's MIMO N ?
In the cheaper models I am looking at I am afraid I'll get single stream...
I guess if it has two or three antennae I guess that would mean it
is not single steam N .... ?
Funny how many of the N's don't have a print or drive USB port also...
