The settings are going to be different in different directories. There is also the issue of setting permissions using POSIX vs. ACLs. You can really mess things up by playing with this. So don't blame me.

Very specifically a normal setting for a file or directory in your domain is:
(Me)    Read and Write
staff   No Access
everyone        No Access

It is much, much safer to do it the way I first told you.
