OMG, we agree twice in the same week!
When I connect my Olympus digital to my Mac the camera powers itself
from the USB. The camera's automatic power down function gets
automatically disabled. Sweet.
My son's HP digital will power down while I'm trying to transfer files
causing the Mac to warn me that a volume has been improperly removed.
I guess that demonstrates why HP is now out of the camera business.
