I bought my first computer in 1982, running CP/M and a spreadsheet program called MultiPlan, to keep my church's books. Was a lifesaver compared with keeping the books with pen and ink on ledger paper. Made the generation of monthly treasurer's reports "easy." The machine had dual 180k 5-1/4-inch floppy drives. Something-80 dot matrix printer. (The "80" presumably meant 80 columns of fixed pitch text.) No hard drive. Cost a bundle. WordStar for correspondence was a "bonus."
