Looks to me as if MS was going to test the waters to find out just how much of mom and dad's money they could cajole kids into scraping up to buy this thing. I'll say it seems to have had all the attributes that kids want. It was Itsy bitsy teeny weeny, with a microscopic display, keys smaller than Tic-Tacs, and oh so easy to hide from the teacher. The perfect device for undeveloped minds to do their Facebooking, or whatever social time wasting site is currently in vogue. Times be tight, however, and mommy and daddy are pinching their pennies these days. What a loss for society this is!
