The first time I tried it, the remote was not in safe mode, and I just ran "concordance -F file". I assume the default is live mode? Anyway, subsequent to this, I retried the upgrade a few times whilst the remote was now in safe mode (both due to not being able to boot, and via by explicitly requesting safe mode by holding power during boot).
