My "LatestFirmware.EZUp" contains the following hint: <NOTINTENDED> <VERSION> <!-- Cant be used for 745 architecture --> <ARCHITECTURE>2</ARCHITECTURE> </VERSION> [...] </NOTINTENDED> So, the 745 indeed seems to be one of the first remotes and its architecture is No. 2. My 525 belongs in your table like this: > remote, arch, fw version, d/l pattern, write pattern 525 9 2.6.0(?) 8xFF 22ecffff4847fffF The version number is determined from the string "Upgrading 525 Application firmware to version 2.6.0 (20071123_162735)". A shot in the dark: The LatestFirmware.EZUp specifies "<SKIN>22</SKIN>" which is - when interpreted as a hex value - the same as the first byte. It probably is a bogus conclusion though since other hex values in the XML part are prefixed with "0x".
