This doesn't seem to actually work for me. The weird thing is I've been playing with it for a while and I can't seem to make it work. I have perl files where I have similar modelines and when I type longer than 78 or 80 characters (with spaces in the line), it breaks the line after I reach that point, but this doesn't. I'm not entirely sure why. -- Phil Dibowitz [EMAIL PROTECTED] Open Source software and tech docs Insanity Palace of Metallica http://www.phildev.net/ http://www.ipom.com/ "Never write it in C if you can do it in 'awk'; Never do it in 'awk' if 'sed' can handle it; Never use 'sed' when 'tr' can do the job; Never invoke 'tr' when 'cat' is sufficient; Avoid using 'cat' whenever possible" -- Taylor's Laws of Programming
