Does the remote appear to have fully booted by the time congruity gives 
up attempting to reconnect? If not, the timeout (close to line 691 in 
congruity per your backtrace) could be increased. However, it's already 
3 minutes after any reset operation, so it seems unlikely this would 
need to change.

If the remote has booted, is it displaying the message that indicates 
it's in USB mode?

Can you try running concordance or congruity against the remote when 
congruity fails to reconnect? Does lsusb list it? It'd be interesting to 
know if the remote itself (or the Linux kernel's USB stack) is having 
problems communicating with the remote, or whether there's simply 
something inside libconcord/congruity that's preventing it from seeing 
the remote re-appear.
