I'm a 525 user - let me know if you need any help. I just reprogrammed
my 525 last night, and the concordance/congruity setup works well
through Firefox, except that you need to unplug and replug the remote
in at a couple of points when it's "detecting remote", otherwise it
doesn't.

If I recall, the command line use as you've outlined above, runs OK.
