Hi Darren, I'd be happy to help.

Which platform would you prefer to work with?  We can start there.

If Windows, then you are going to need to install Visual C++ 2010 Express 
(other compilers may work too, but haven't been tested).  Also, 
unfortunately Concordance 1.0 will not work with Windows out of the box. 
You would need to apply a patch.

If you would prefer Mac, you might be the first one to try Concordance 1.0 
on a Mac.  :)  If you want to go with the Mac route, there are 
instructions inside the source tree.  First compile libconcord by using 
the instructions in libconcord/INSTALL.mac.  Then compile concordance by 
using the instructions in concordance/INSTALL.mac.
