Il faut que tu recuperes une install sur le site de sun.
Par exemple là:
http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.5.0/download.jsp
lien "Download JDK 5.0 Update 6"
puis "jdk-1_5_0_06-linux-i586-rpm.bin"
Ensuite tu fais un : chmod +x jdk-1_5_0_06-linux-i586-rpm.bin
Puis en root tu l'executes : ./jdk-1_5_0_06-linux-i586-rpm.bin
