Sorry, we have crossed wires.
It sounds like you are using the Firefox plugin version of conkeror,
where I am using conkerer-xr which is independent of firefox. As such
I cannot use the GUI interface of Firefox, which doesn't exist in
conkeror-xr.
The latest conkeror-xr in git looks like a significant improvement
over the older firefox plugin.
