The main problem here is that Esc is already bound to "unfocus" in
Conkeror. So it will be difficult to impossible to implement that
without removing that binding.
"unfocus" though has a second binding by default, M-Esc", so there
would be binding even we change the meaning of Esc, but I guess that
Esc is one of the most often used key bindings, so I don't expect many
to be happy if we change that...
I'll though think about it...
