Ok.  Thanks for checking.  I suspect there is variation among hardware
such that the support I wrote for the back/forward mouse buttons does not
cover [all?]  keyboards.  One clue that this is the case is that gtk is
sending a keypress event for 'cancel' for your 'Stop' key, rather than the
'cmdstop' AppCommand event I would have expected were it a multimedia key.
Much complexity.  Will await for further information on the subject to
reveal itself or access to some hardware that I can test myself before
doing more in this area.

If anybody else reading this list posts their results of testing the new
feature, it will be appreciated.
