If for some reason you haven't yet upgraded to xulrunner-2.0xxx (the
one that's shipping alongside Firefox 4 RCs) then I would strongly
encourage it. It runs Conkeror much faster and with a smaller memory.
 Additionally, the dastardly memory leaks I would experience if I left
twitter (or any javascript heavy application) open for several hours
are completely gone. I have had Conkeror running for 24 hours and
it's still snappy. While using xulrunner-1.9xx I would have to
restart Conkeror periodically otherwise it would grind to a halt.

Upgrade, it's totally worth it.

ps. For those who don't know, on Ubuntu, simply run

      sudo add-apt-repository ppa:ubuntu-mozilla-daily/ppa && sudo
apt-get update && sudo apt-get install xulrunner-2.0

Then follow the instructions on http://conkeror.org/MultipleXULRunners
(noting that the GRE list is stored in /etc/gre.d/ not ~/.gre.d/ as
indicated on that page)
