I use Emacs both on a tty (in text mode) and X windows, with the elisp code "(server-start)". No matter where emacsclient runs (tty or X), it will find and open the file in the Emacs server. This is very convenient.
Now I can use conkeror as an external browser for Emacs in X windows. However, when I run Emacs on a tty and try to open a url by conkeror, there is no response.
