The discussion on running Conkeror without a standalone xulrunner, via firefox, inspired me to think about running Conkeror on an Android phone.
I have a Motorola Droid 3 phone, which would be perfect for Conkeror with the hardware keyboard. There is firefox for Android, which is some mobile 4 beta or something, so I'm thinking, is it possible to use the workaround to run conkeror using some CLI launcher via the installed firefox... Am not sure how apps are managed in Android, seems the apk files, which would be some JAR zip files, correct me if I'm wrong, are copied to some local directory and apps are launched via these... Anyone familiar with Android? Can we get conkeror running on it? BTW, I do have conkeror running on the phone within a Debian chroot, however this seems to slow the system down considerably, so was thinking using the native firefox, which is quite snappy might be a way...
