I think you still need to have the old scrollbar workaround on the late
hook with this method.
I will report this information to mozilla as I said, but on the conkeror
side of things, I think we have two reasonable courses of action with
respect to working around the scrollbar problem. (And even if mozilla
fixed it in their very next version, the fix wouldn't be backported, so we
would likely still need a workaround.)
1. Document the problem on the wiki, and provide code for affected
people to put in their rcs.
2. Change browser_default_open_target to a special variable with a
setter that automatically installs/uninstalls the fix as needed.
