Currently I use 1-9 to direct conkeror to buffers 1-9, following a hint in the conkeror wiki. I assume if 1-9 become numeric prefix keys, it would be easy to rig things so 1 C-something would go to buffer 1, etc. -- so I'd be needing only one more keystroke than before. Right?
