JFTR: With Mike's recent uploads of the xulrunner-15.0 and xulrunner-16.0 packages to http://mozilla.debian.net/ (versions 15.0~b3-1 and 16.0~a2+20120803042008-1 to be precise), the issue is fixed. Thanks! I'll prepare a new conkeror package (for Debian experimental) which supports these two versions of xulrunner. (Cc'ing the conkeror mailing list.) xulrunner-14.0 is not yet fixed/supported as it has been released with that bug (see http://bugs.debian.org/683157; Cc'ed) and it's harder to get that fixed in minor release update than in an alpha or beta release. There though seems a chance that it will be fixed in an upcoming xulrunner/firefox 14.0.x release, maybe 14.0.2 (as 14.0.1 has been released already, too).
