Hi!

*sight* I got an off-list message, too.

The idea about [EMAIL PROTECTED] is to not bother the list with
technical stuff, of course, so writing to *both* conlang-request@ and
conlang@ is not really how it's intended.

Dear list, don't be bothered. I helped Bryan. :-)

I thought the IPA diacritic for "syllabic" was a subscript short
vertical line, not a dot? At least that's what it looks like to me.

Also, if the retroflexion is considered an important feature, wouldn't
[r\`] (turned r with retroflex hook) suit better than [r\]?

PS. I'm posting thru the Yahoo interface and I've lately gotten "You
have exceeded the daily quota" bounces even on my first message of the
day! What's up with that? Does the list software perhaps count all
messages coming from here as the same user?

You're not alone.

Anyone who has encountered this problem, please contact me to help find
the source of the problem.

Note that in case this only occurs through the Yahoo interface, then
be warned that that is not the official way of posting. Please either
write mail directly to [EMAIL PROTECTED], or post via the
interface at http://listserv.brown.edu/archives/conlang.html .
