I haven't been privy to Randy's manuscript, but I published a classical liberal "defense" of the reading of the Constitution and what I hope was a "thoughtful and nuanced defense" of originalism years ago with NYU Press. The book is titled TO SECURE THESE RIGHTS: THE DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE AND CONSTITUTIONAL INTERPRETATION. Randy told me a few years back that he assigned the book in his Con Law seminar at BU. I'll be interested to read his book as well.
