On this question, I agree with Eugene, Senator Hatch and Representative Franks; the prohibition against foreign born presidents is an embarassing remnant of an earlier era in our constitutional history. Whether a corrective amendment facilitates the election of soon to be governor Schwarzenegger or current governor Granholm as president seems quite beside the point.
