In general the changes look good. One issue, however:
hsqldb 1.8 will not work with ManifoldCF. We've been using the latest hsqldb
2.2 release, built for java 1.5. If you can find a dependency that reflects
that, great - if not, it should probably go into the list of "custom" jars for
now.
