I've now checked in native2ascii converters for all connectors. The convention
is to check in only .utf8 files; these will be converted to ascii form during
building, and the .utf8 files will not be included in the resource part of the
jar. I've therefore renamed all plain ascii .properties files to
.properties.utf8, because .properties files will always be treated as if they
are generated during compilation.
