What are the chances of ditching the requirement for inotify from
connman? Perhaps even ditching its use entirely?
I'm looking for a Connection Manager that's nice and portable, but
inotify is rather Linux-specific.
Looking at the code, it isn't clear to me it actually gets functionally
used at all. It appears to only get touched by loopback.c to watch the
/etc/hostname file, but I think it may only be used to generate
informational messages?
