ConnMan 0.63 is out and was released on November 03, 2010.

With more than 120 commits pushed in one month, 0.63 is a fairly big release.
This features major highlights are:

- udev dependency removal: ConnMan now fully relies on RTNL for device
detection.

- OpenVPN support (From Daniel Wagner, BMW): ConnMan now supports OpenVPN
tunnels, in routed mode.

- iptables library: 0.63 brings the first iptables library darft. It
implements a subset of the iptables binary option and will be used for the
upcoming tethering feature, for a proper on demand connection handling, and
for implementing the counter rate threshold.

- gsupplicant stabilization: Many gsupplicant related fixes in order to
stabilize and improve the new ConnMan WiFi plugin, the plan being to switch to
it as the default plugin by 0.64. Many thanks to Kalle Valo (Canonical), Leena
Gunda (Wipro) and Mohamed Abbas (Intel) for their work.

- PACrunner support: ConnMan forwards proxy automatic and manual
configurations to PACrunner. Along with libproxy, this provides a complete
proxy handling architecture.

- Switch to wpa_supplicant nl80211 API: ConnMan now asks wpa_supplicant to use
its nl80211 based API by default. wpa_supplicant will still use the deprecated
wext API as a fallback solution (e.g. for staging drivers).

- Bug fixes: The following bugzilla.meego.com bugs got fixed: 7895 [1],
8324 [2], 8363 [3], 8750 [4], 8792 [5], and we also fixed rfkill, statistics,
isimodem related issues.

We provide signed tarballs for ConnMan 0.63 [6] [7], and you can also get
the latest code from our latest git tree [8].

Cheers,
Samuel.
