Hi,

It would be very much appreciated, if anyone can provide answers of the below
queries:
* Apart from WLAN STA support, does connman supports Wi Fi AP role? If
yes, is it communicates with hostapd?

ConnMan supports wifi tethering (through wpa_supplicant) it's a lightweight AP mode. No hostapd involved. This feature is meant for connection sharing. (and it works with bt, ethernet etc... not only wifi)

* Does connman supports P2P feature?

Yes

* Both IPv4 and IPv6 are supported in Connman?

Yes

* Does connman spawn DHCP client or server based on the interface, i.e
DHCP server for AP interface, DHCP server for Supplicant?

ConnMan does not spawn any process. It embeds a dhcp client and server directly and it all works much better than any spawn based solution.

* Whether auto-configuration is also supported in connman.

IPv6 autoconf? If so, then yes.

* If packet filtering is supported in connnman?

No. It uses a bit of xtables features for nating (for the tethering feature), and some other specific uses, but ConnMan is not a packet filtering frontend.
